Itinerary

Day 1 COPENHAGEN

Welcome to Denmark Welcome to Copenhagen, the stylish capital of Denmark and the starting point of your Northern European adventure. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free for you to relax after your journey or begin exploring Copenhagen at your own pace.

Day 2 COPENHAGEN • ODENSE • AARHUS

Danish Capital & H.C. Andersen's City After breakfast, enjoy a guided panoramic tour of Copenhagen, one of Scandinavia's most vibrant capitals. The tour combines sightseeing by coach and walking, taking in some of the city's most famous landmarks, including The Little Mermaid, Nyhavn Harbour, Amalienborg Palace, City Hall Square and the Tivoli Gardens area. Later, travel towards Jutland, crossing the impressive bridge spanning approximately 20 kilometres across the sea. Our journey continues to Odense, the birthplace of the famous Danish author H.C. Andersen. Enjoy time to explore the city, including its Gothic cathedral and the area around H.C. Andersen's House. Continue to Aarhus, Denmark's second-largest city, where you will have free time to relax and explore.

Day 3 AARHUS • HIRTSHALS • KRISTIANSAND • FLEKKEFJORD • STAVANGER

Ferry to Norway & Southern Coastline After breakfast, travel north towards Hirtshals, where you will board a ferry across the North Sea to Kristiansand in Norway. Enjoy the approximately three-hour sea crossing and take in the views of the North Sea. Depending on the sailing schedule, there will normally be an opportunity to have lunch onboard. After arriving in Kristiansand, continue along Norway's scenic southern coastline towards Flekkefjord, a charming coastal town surrounded by beautiful landscapes. Continue to Stavanger, a picturesque Norwegian city situated beside the fjords and known for its historic character and lively harbour.

Day 4 STAVANGER • BERGEN

Viking Heritage & Scenic Fjord Journey After breakfast, depart Stavanger and stop at Swords in Rock, an impressive monument commemorating the Viking heritage of Norway. Continue through Norway's spectacular coastal scenery, travelling through tunnels, across bridges and along sections of the journey by boat. The route offers wonderful views of the fjords and surrounding landscapes, making the journey itself one of the highlights of the trip. Arrive in Bergen around lunchtime. Later, take the funicular to Mount Fløyen, one of the city's most famous viewpoints, for panoramic views over Bergen and the surrounding fjords. The remainder of the day is free to explore Bergen, known as the gateway to the Norwegian fjords.

Day 5 BERGEN • SOGNEFJORD • OSLO

Norwegian Fjords & Scenic Cruise Today, continue deeper into Norway's spectacular landscapes of fjords, mountains, forests, lakes and waterfalls. Travel towards Sognefjord, the largest and one of the most impressive fjords in Norway. En route, stop at the beautiful Tvindefossen Waterfall. Continue to Gudvangen, where you will board a scenic cruise towards Aurland. During the approximately 1½-hour voyage, enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, waterfalls and fjord scenery. After the cruise, continue through the spectacular Norwegian mountain landscape and travel through the Aurland Tunnel. A brief stop will be made at Borgund Stave Church, one of Norway's finest surviving examples of medieval wooden architecture. Continue to Oslo, Norway's elegant capital. Upon arrival, enjoy free time to explore the city, including the harbour, central streets and Frogner Park, famous for its collection of sculptures.

Day 6 OSLO • ÖREBRO • STOCKHOLM

Norway to Sweden After breakfast, enjoy a guided panoramic tour of Oslo. Discover the fascinating contrast between modern architecture, historic buildings, open green spaces and the city's famous sculpture parks. Following the tour, enjoy some free time in Oslo before continuing towards Sweden. The journey takes you through beautiful landscapes of forests and lakes before reaching Örebro, a historic Swedish town located beside a scenic lake. Enjoy time to stroll through the charming old town and admire the impressive Örebro Castle. Continue to Stockholm, arriving in the evening.

Day 7 STOCKHOLM

Discover Sweden's Island Capital Today, explore Stockholm, one of Europe's most beautiful capitals, built across a network of islands. Enjoy a panoramic city tour featuring the historic Gamla Stan, Stockholm's atmospheric Old Town, with its medieval streets, colourful buildings and historic landmarks. See Stortorget, the main square, the Royal Palace and Stockholm Cathedral. Whenever conditions permit, enjoy panoramic views from the Fjällgatan viewpoint. The afternoon is free for independent exploration. You may choose to visit some of Stockholm's renowned museums and parks, including the Vasa Museum or Stockholm City Hall.

Day 8 STOCKHOLM

Free Day in Stockholm & Overnight Ferry to Finland Enjoy a full free day in Stockholm. Take the opportunity to explore the city at your own pace, shop for souvenirs, visit museums or simply enjoy the atmosphere of the Swedish capital. In the evening, board a modern overnight ferry to Turku, Finland. Accommodation will be provided in a double en-suite cabin, allowing you to rest comfortably during the overnight sea journey.

Day 9 TURKU • NAANTALI • HELSINKI

Åland Islands, Finnish Coast & Suomenlinna Wake up onboard and head to the deck for beautiful morning views as the ferry sails through the Åland Islands, a stunning archipelago of hundreds of forested islands. After disembarking in Turku, enjoy time to explore this historic Finnish city, which retains a strong Swedish influence. Continue to Naantali, a picturesque coastal town known for its charming wooden houses and seaside setting. Later, travel to Helsinki, Finland's elegant seaside capital. After lunch, board a regular public ferry to the Suomenlinna Islands, home to the impressive sea fortress that once protected Helsinki's maritime entrance. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers a fascinating combination of historic fortress walls, scenic walking paths and beautiful views across the Baltic Sea. Return to Helsinki by ferry before transferring to your hotel.

Day 10 HELSINKI • TALLINN

Finland to Estonia by Ferry Enjoy a free morning in Helsinki to explore the city's elegant streets, waterfront areas and local attractions. In the afternoon, board the ferry to Tallinn, Estonia. The crossing takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. Relax onboard and enjoy views of Helsinki and the surrounding Baltic Sea islands as you sail towards Estonia. Upon arrival in Tallinn, transfer to your accommodation and enjoy the remainder of the evening at leisure.

Day 11 TALLINN

Medieval Estonia After breakfast, enjoy a panoramic tour of Tallinn, Estonia's charming medieval capital. Discover the remarkably preserved historic centre, including its medieval walls, churches, squares and atmospheric cobblestone streets. The afternoon is free for you to continue exploring Tallinn independently. Wander through the Old Town, browse local shops and cafés, or simply enjoy the city's unique medieval atmosphere.

Day 12 TALLINN

End of Your Northern European Journey After breakfast, your Absolute North adventure comes to an end. Depart Tallinn with wonderful memories of the Nordic capitals, Norwegian fjords, scenic ferry crossings, historic towns and unforgettable experiences across Northern Europe.
